CHESS STAMPS
Welcome to the section dedicated to chess stamps. The intention of this section is the disclosure of this interesting theme inside world thematic philately. Around the world we find thousands of stamp-collectors dedicated to chess. In Europe there are many clubs that get collectors of this fascinating theme.
In internet we find other very interesting sites about chess stamps. These addresses can be found in the section “links”.
In the section “My complete collection” stamps can be seen, FDC, erros and proofs, In this section the search can be done by year, by country or by player. In the option by player, you’ll find a short description about each chess player.
In the section “My special items” we selected the most important pieces from the collection as imperforate stamps, die proofs, color proofs, most rare errors and postmarks. The rare postmarks will be only showed in this section.
In the section “My want’list” will be related the pieces that I don’t have in my collection.
